Nucleus colonies, also known as nucs, are small bee colonies that are created from a larger colony.  These are often packaged and sold to beekeepers.  We sell over-wintered nucs that are made up of 5 frames, which include bees, a queen, brood, honey, and pollen.  These are perfect for the beginning beekeeper or the beekeeper looking to restock a current hive
